Clincher is an Australian rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in 2005, the group’s line up includes drummer Glen Bryant, guitarists Darren Venn and Jason Mortensen, vocalist Arnie Philippi and bassist Adam Mountain.
The base of Clincher’s sound is rock with elements of grunge and metal blended with the occasional acoustic riff. Their heavy guitar riffs and raw vocals are intense and forceful yet vulnerable at the core when they need to be. Emerging with their rock inspired grunge/metal on their first album, Lend Me Your Ears (2006), Clincher followed this up with the more progressive Devil Scenes and Beauty Queens (2010) and released their best work yet this year with Habits of the People and are now preparing for a return to the live circuit.
Local and abroad radio stations including 96FM, Volt Radio, Pro Ativo Radio have played their songs plus an exclusive live on air performance for 89.7FM Twin Cities. They have headlined the HBF Arena Perth Bikers Charity Ride 2016, 2017 and 2018. Australia's largest and longest running charity ride. They also released a single on Kill City vol.3 in the USA.
